The West Seattle Sportsmen’s Club (WSSC) Junior program is excited to welcome new members at all skill levels and experience! Below is a brief overview of how to join and what being a part of the program looks like. The Juniors program is constantly evolving as we find better ways to support both our students and coaches, so the information provided here is subject to change.
First Time/Novice Students
- Must attend a WSSC Junior Basic Safety Program (JBS)
- JBS consists of a 3 week class, 1 hour per week from 5:30PM-6:30PM
- JBS starts on the FIRST TUESDAY of each month
- Registration must be made at least 4 days in advance
- Class is free and all gear and equipment is provided
- Once the WSSC JBS has been completed, the junior may enroll in the West Seattle Junior Shooting program
West Seattle Junior Shooting Program
- Meets every Tuesday from 6:30PM-8:00PM
- Cost is $50/month
- 3 week commitment per month required
- Coaching from experienced USA Shooting coaches
- Prepares participants to compete in local/national air rifle competitions
- All gear is provided
- Jackets and pants are subject to availability. The club has a limited selection of sizes. We will try our best to accomodate all students.
- Participants may bring and use their own equipment provided it meets the range rules.
